Classic French Gardens – This Saturday – April 6 @ 3 pm

In this hour long slide presentation, garden speaker Dan Pichney will take us on a trip to several of the Chateaux of the Loire Valley, including Chambord, Chenonceaux and Villandry; as well as Monet's garden at Giverny and a typical Meditteranean style garden in Villefranche sur Mer.
Admission: Free for members of Multilingual Society, $10 general admission.

The registration started for our New session of:

French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and ESOL (English as second language) classes for adults and
French and Russian classes for children

This session is scheduled for 2 months: March 4th – April 27th. The complete schedule of our classes is available on our website (click on the language of your choice to access it).

The schedule of German classes is being currently finalized and will be available shortly.

Say it loud! – Guided tour in French at Norton Museum

"Say It Loud: Art by African and African-American Artists in the Collection"

Saturday, Feb 9 at 11 am

1451 S. Olive Ave, West Palm Beach (Norton Museum)

Paintings, sculpture, photographs and works on paper by artists either residing in Africa or of African descent comprise this exhibition which celebrates art in the Norton Museum’s collection. Examples will span the twentieth and twenty-first century representing ideas and issues found in, for example, James Vanderzee’s 1915 image of his first photo studio; Al Loving’s untitled tie-dyed, abstract canvas; Carrie Mae Weems panels with photos and text; and the sculptural Soundsuits of Nick Cave.

The tour is guided (in French) by Docent Renate Gross, we meet in the lobby.
