"Balades et bavardages en Alsace" / Sept 23-29, 2026

Obernai, the birthplace of St. Odile (Sainte of Alsace), is a condensed version of Alsace. It is one of the rare Alsace towns to have retained its traditional character and charm, with its medieval defenses and its fortified towers. This small town is located right between Colmar and Strasbourg, in the middle of the famous Alsace Wine Route.

We will trade our textbooks (just for one week:) for the timbered village streets of Obernai, where the air smells of fresh kougelhopf and grapevines stretch toward the hills. In the heart of Alsace, this 7-day immersive experience invites you not only to practice French but also connect with local culture, and savor the rhythm of small-town life. 

Our group will be staying in a charming hotel right in the historical center of Obernai. It’s the perfect home base for our excursions to Colmar, Mont Sainte-Odile, Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg, Ribeauvillé, and other nearby gems.
